This is how I feel. Alone. Awkward. Unwanted. But there really isn’t anything so wrong with me, is there? I just wish someone would tell me that this isn’t what it’s going to be like all the time now that things are so changed. Because they have changed, to the point of being unrecognizable. I wish things would go back to being the way they were, and I wouldn’t feel this way.

These are kiwis: small flightless birds. They remind me of my boyfriend because he’s from New Zealand, and the kiwi is New Zealand’s national bird. He has no resemblance to a small flightless bird.
